AM Implementation in Your Own Business

Target group: SMBs that have decided, or are curious about, adopting additive manufacturing/industrial 3D printing in their business, and who desire guidance during the implementation phase.


Purpose: Guidance during the implementation phase.


Format: 4 physical meetings/workshops during the project period, most of which are held at the company's premises. In addition to these meetings, MIL is available for remote support


Content:

1. MIL will assist the company with implementation and competence development in relevant AM (Additive Manufacturing) technologies and materials over a period of 1 year. The guidance is structured with several milestones throughout the period, allowing for maturation and input for tailoring the guidance to fit the company's operations.

2. The guidance will include theoretical competence development, as well as practical use of the equipment available at the company. If the company has not yet chosen to purchase such equipment, equipment can be leased from MIL.

3. After the guidance period, the company will have built up expertise on how AM is used generally, how they can use it in their production, which materials and processes to focus on, and how to proceed with implementation beyond the guidance period.

Price: NOK 150,000, including printer rental for 6 weeks
